Advanced Retinol & Peptide Anti-Ageing Serum

I received this product through the Amazon Vine program, whose purpose is to generate fair reviews for new products. This product will take weeks, if not months of use to evaluate properly, so as I have done with other products which require longer testing, I will provide my initial impressions and update the review as I gain a clearer picture of the product’s quality.Even before ordering this product, I asked an AI assistant to evaluate its ingredients. Here’s what it told me:“This is an impressive ingredient list. Based on this formulation, yes, this serum should work well, and it appears to be designed specifically to minimize the common side effects (dryness/irritation) that usually come with retinol. This is not just a simple retinol serum; it is a "cocktail" of anti-aging ingredients.”Based upon that information, I felt comfortable giving this product a shot. I am a 65-yr-old male whose skin is battling both aging and weight loss. My hope is that it will help tighten up my face and neck skin and make it generally more youthful in appearance. I am also taking a Collagen and Biotin supplement. I have taken a “before” photo and plan to later share both that photo and a series of “after” photos.So far, I can only provide these first impressions. First, the bottle feels luxurious. A simple design that is well-executed. The instructions say to use 1 or 2 drops. At first, that seemed ridiculous. The serum is fairly thick, so the drops are fairly big. I saw videos regarding retinol serums recommending to dab, dab, dab with the fingertips, then rub in. I did that pretty successfully, but it still feels tempting to add a couple more drops. I’m sticking with two drops and at that level, these two bottle should last quite some time.I have been applying the serum at bedtime after washing and drying my face. I am applying just the serum with no moisturizer. So far, I have experienced no discomfort as is sometimes associated with retinol use. Perhaps the buffers in this product are preventing that, but it may be a little too early to have experienced those effects.I have a degree of confidence that this product will deliver, but only time will tell. For now…five stars.

I've been using retinol products since the mid 2000s and my skin is long past being sensitive to it. (When first used, retinol can feel like it's burning, but then the skin gets used to it). I was a little concerned my skin would "burn" when using this product, however, because it does not look like the retinol serums I've been using for years -- it is a cream color instead of just a clear liquid. That was a little jarring, more so because I cannot figure out from the ingredient label what is in the serum that colors it. In any case, my skin does not burn after use, the product is completely unscented, it absorbs well, and easily allows for a moisturizer to be layered over the top. Overall a good product.

Seriously, this is the all in one serum that will likely be replacing numerous pre moisturizer steps once you try it. This is a very eloquent formula with an extremely impressive ingredient deck. The more I study the ingredients, the more impressed I become. I ordered this seeking a more gentle retinoid for the winter months as my tretinoin tends to be too much for my skin barrier and sensitive skin during these months.Since substituting this soothing retinol serum for my last step tretinoin my skin has regained its glow and my redness and dry patches have dramatically improved. I feel I have still maintained the amazing benefits retinoids offer, despite this being a gentler option, and am thus strongly considering this being a long term swap because of how much I am loving using this formula and how much my skin appears to appreciate it. I have not experienced any remote stinging, irritation, nor pilling, with this product. In fact my experience is exactly opposite. My skin has been appearing more and more hydrated and soothed with each day that’s passed I’ve used this product.Quality: This serum feels incredibly lovely. I would best describe it as a thick milky serum. It dosent feel like an oil, nor a gel, nor a watery liquid, more a happy milky medium between all of the above that is incredibly hydrating. I’ve included a video to help demonstrate exactly how eloquent this formula is upon application.My skin seems to drink this up, only to be left feeling perfectly hydrated, not remotely tacky, oily or greasy. This really seems to be the perfect hyaluronic infused barrier supporting serum that also has so many other beneficial ingredients!Ingredients: In addition to containing 3 forms of retinols, including an advantageous granactive retinoid, this also contains many soothing botanical extracts as well as numerous antioxidants and brighteners (Ubiquinone, Niacinamide, a stable vitamin c derivative, and vit E.) And peptides! In addition to the multiple forms of hyaluronic acid included here to offer with multi-level hydration this formula also contains two highly sought after signaling peptides (acetyl Hexapeptide-8 or argireline and palmitoyl tripeptide-5). I note no fragrances nor potentially irritating essential oils in this formula which is essential for anything I use on my rosacea prone skin. There is no offensive smell, whatsoever, noted with this serum.I appreciate this serum is packaged in a dark glass container which speaks to the thoughtfulness placed into every aspect of this product. I feel confident I will be repurchasing this product!

This retinol serum is amazing! It absorbs smoothly, feels lightweight, and didn’t irritate my skin. After consistent use, my skin looks smoother, more even-toned, and fine lines seem softer. Great for improving texture and promoting a youthful glow.
